Plastic Free Bag Day is a global initiative aimed at eliminating the use of single-use plastic bags worldwide. This work centred around Plastic Bag Free Day, on the 3rd of July each year.
Despite the fact that the whole world is working to reduce plastic bags, we consume as many as one million plastic bags per minute.
Plastic Free Bag Day, as part of the World Without Bags initiative, seeks to drastically reduce the use of single-use plastic bags. Now, the campaign is part of the broader Break Free From Plastic movement, which brings together an international movement of plastic pollution fighters to build a future free from plastic waste.
